Republican presidential nominee and former President Donald Trump will hold a campaign rally on Saturday afternoon at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center, the campaign announced on Tuesday night.
The event is scheduled to begin at 4 p.m. Doors will open at noon.

Trump’s appearance — which will follow rallies on Friday night and earlier Saturday in Michigan — will mark the first in Centre County this cycle by any member of a presidential ticket ahead of the Nov. 5 election, though surrogates for both the Trump-Vance and Harris-Walz campaigns have visited State College in recent days.
Pennsylvania is viewed as a critical swing-state for Republicans and Democrats in the presidential election, with the nominees spending substantial time and campaign advertising dollars in the commonwealth.
While that has largely meant candidate appearances in western, northeastern and southeastern Pennsylvania, attention on central Pennsylvania has begun to heat up. Though not an official campaign event, Trump supporter and former Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswany spoke at Penn State on Thursday, and a day later New York Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez spoke at the State Theatre in downtown State College. On Sunday, five Democratic governors brought the “Blue Wall” bus tour to a parking lot next to Medlar Field for a rally in support of Kamala Harris, and on Tuesday the “Team Trump” bus tour featuring four campaign surrogates stopped at the same location.
